Hearsay? Hmmm...ok, you're right. It is hearsay, but
since the Joint Chiefs failed to include me in the
last staff meeting, I'm sorta left to examine the
issue of adequate armor for myself. lol
Seriously now, yes, I would write my congressman to
find out if this is true or not, that's it's exactly
what you should do.
Nothing wrong with asking questions my friend, that is
how things get fixed or rumors get put to bed. In
this case my congressman is also a friend and Wally
wouldn't mind a bit if I asked him. He likes to hear
whats going around, true or not, just so he can
respond to it appropriately.
Basing a decision or forming a belief based on nothing
but hearsay is not wise, but thats not what is going
on here.
By the way, how many gun trucks have you seen on the
news running around IraqI streets? Or how many 2.5
and 5 ton trucks running around with up armor kits?
Hmmm... I dunno either, but would be nice to know. I
recall the honcho's saying we gave our troops the
right equipment in Somalia too, until the S--- hit the
fan and we found out different.
God bless America - Support our Troops,
Jack-
