I was earlier asking about the PRC-77 for my truck. So now I ask, whats the
story on the RT-524? Are they repairable? Are they less expensive than the
PRC-77? I like the idea of the PRC-25/77 but when you throw in the AM-2060 they
start getting pricey. I have the MT1029 which I think takes the AM2060 and
the RT-524. Do both radios use the same antenna? I am planning the VIC-1
install too. Thanks in advance!
