You will love it... once you go track, you never go back.

Subject: [MV] FV 432 purchase
Well all, I've decided I'm finally going to purchase a British FV 432
APC. This will be my first piece of armor but after talking with many
owners they sound pretty reliable and low maintenance. Working with
heavy equipment is nothing new to me anyway. I'm figuring it easiest to
go through a dealer. Any suggestions? Any info on the vehicles etc would
be helpful. I want one that is in need of some work (paint, brackets,
etc) but want something that runs and track is in good shape. I see ads
stating price delivered to your nearest port. I'm in northern
California, seems to me Stockton would be the nearest port but everyone
says they have picked their vehicles up at Port Houneme (hope I spelled
that right). One thing that concerns me is I won't have the ability to
check the vehicle out, especially if it's overseas...are dealers in
these rigs pretty reputable? Anyone know much about the diesel version?
I've got so many questions running through my mind right now and don't
know where to start. Bill
