Question:
If the engine was able to turn over at a good clip,
how could new batteries cure the NO START.
I ask this because I have found, if the electrics is up to snuff, good coil
condensor, points gapped right, etc. usually can start a gasser with 12 Volts.
I'm sure cranking at 1/2 voltage wouldn't work to well in the dead of winter.
Have tried it with my M-38 and M-715.
My point:
Could the spark on his M-151 be real weak and a lower voltage makes it worse?
