IMHO....

I'm with Gene on this one. If you as a buyer of MV antiquities are so
naive to think that a 20 year old surplus MV engine, NOS or not, will be
a "drop 'er in and fire it up" proposition, you're in the wrong hobby!
That fits in the $5.00 Jeep in a crate theory! Lest we forget that our
vehicles and surplus parts are in our possession largely due to the fact
that the government didn't think it was worth fixing or keeping. Bottom
line: Remember the Golden Rule (do unto others...), and let the buyer
beware.
In the albeit limited personal contact I've had with members of this
list and of the HMV community in general, I have found everyone to be
friendly, helpful, honest, and dedicated to keeping both our hobby
alive, and the memory of those who fought bravely and sacrificed so much
to keep us free. If we keep all that in mind, the MV world at large
will be a better place for all.

Had to toss in my "Nichols'" worth...
