Made a nice one out of an old dryer, a shop vac, and a pair of heavy
rubber gloves, worked really well.

Subject: [MV] Sand Blasting Cabinet

Hi List:

Could I obtain recommendations on sand blasting cabinets? I can
borrow a
blasting gun for the parts of the deuce which, well, ARE the
deuce. However I'm starting to pull light assemblies off and wish to
try
to save them: replace the sockets if need be, etc. The replacements
I've
found for these assemblies are plastic ( yech! ), and the metal is still

solid if well rusted in places, so buying a small blasting cabinet seems

the way to go.
From what I could see on line, a bench top model will run
$200-$400... and
no one seems to keep them in stock so as long as I'm ordering it I
thought
to ask about real world use of them.

        Thanks for any thoughts.
