my connections with rockwell indicate that there were about 5 higher
ratios available for commercial trucks. NONE are available now. the only
place to gain speed is in the transmission which is why i went to a .69
OD with my cat installation. in the works is an allison 6 speed with 2
ODs and a top gear of .64 (almost 80 mph, which is more than the tires
will stand)
