I agree with Chuck here, that unless the military lets go of any more
vehicles prices may actually go up. I have been watching the ebay prices
off and on to see what is out there and it's only the rough, incomplete or
totally modified ones that seem "reasonable". What I don't like to see in
an Ebay ad is mis-information about what the vehicle is about, what the
movies portray or has "secret" stuff on it. This seems to happen often but
read on:

Even worse, about a month ago (anyone remember this ad?) some real
MORON included in his HUMVEE ad; "if you have any trouble or need repairs,
just go down to your local National Guard and offer them a few bucks and
you'll get a real GI mechanic to work on your Humvee and he'll be happy to
do it". What he portrayed here is a FEDERAL OFFENSE punishable by prison or
Ft Leavenworth!!! This is just what WE don't want in our hobby. Case in
point, I parked my Humvee in front of a friend's business which was about
two blocks from one of our local NG sites and guess what? This E6 came in
and wanted to know who's machine that was. I suppose they were missing one
and thought he'd play CID?? I thought I knew everyone in the NG here!
Lately someone was needing a Humvee tire to match a set (for his Ford P/U)
and thought the NG here would help him. As usual, they always send them to
me!! Have a great day folks!! Julian Burke

sure there won't be any in the future. United defense sold about 750
through Bishop Brothers Auction about 3 years ago.

back tops. There are quite a few rough trucks going for low prices but
these trucks have always been cheap.
