Trailer for HMMWV

I'm starting to keep my eyes open for a suitable cargo trailer to tow behind
my HMMWV. An M101A3 would be ideal, but there are probably many other trailers
that could be suitable. One of those pioneer tool trailers might even work. I
don't think I'd want a 1/4 ton trailer (not enough capacity), or a flatbed
generator trailer (I'd want side walls to keep stuff in place). I may mount a
generator on it, but I'd want to carry cargo, too.

I'm located in southern California, near Riverside. Does anybody have any leads?

Does anybody know how hard it would be to modify one of the earlier M101
variants to use 36" HMMWV rims, or at least some tire/wheel combination
that'll make the trailer bed close to level when hitched to a HMMWV?

Hmm, here's another crazy idea: Has anybody out there ever contemplated
changing the rims and tires on an M105-series 1.5-ton trailer to make it
suitable for towing with a HMMWV (maybe with reduced weight capacity)? Maybe
it wouldn't be worth the trouble, though, because I think it would be
desirable to retrofit a surge or electrical braking system.

Thanks in advance for any help.
