In teaching diesel mechanics, we rely pretty heavily on 'green stuff' to
get the job done. We use deuce-and-a-half's and 5Ton trucks haul our
stuff to the College and most of our engine and transmission trainers
are straight out of federal supply. This Fall, we're reorganizing and
updating our labs and have some surplus stuff for sale. Some of the it
is almost new, some has been used for demonstration, and some is
seriously used/scrap. We can provide digital pics, if needed.
Detroit Diesel 671 marine engine w/gearbox (reman, used as a lab demo)
$4200.00
2-cylinder Teledyne air-cooled engines (scrap) $100.00 for all 3
Continental LDS 478 long block assy (NIB) $750.00
11.00-20 military tires on 10-lug rims $50.00 each
HD Rockwell steering axle (non-driving) w/air brakes, spindles, tires
$125.00
Holsett HT80 turbo (new) $450.00
M35 2.5T cargo truck bed $450.00
Our campus is located in Marshall (east) Texas, just north of I-20.
We're 2.5 hours east of Dallas and half-an-hour west of Shreveport.
