Simple answer is DON`T even think of it . I used to run an
Austin Champ on 25 % kerosene BUT only at night when no one could see the
plume of white smoke on over run . It will reduce the octane number and may
well cause other problems EG burnt valves , damaged pistons Etc . The old
Gas /kerosene engines were designed for it and had LOW compression .
Diesel fuel will not vaporise as kerosene does and will therefore only
partially burn , leaving fouled plugs .
Just pay up and look big NOEL.
