7) HIGHWAY TRAFFIC CONTROL CODE - October 1944 - *ORIGINAL* 12cm x 19cm, 45
pages, half in english, and half in ..brasilian language!! ..also a VERY
nice high detailed folded map of Northern Italy 45cm x 50cm.
booklet was printed directly from headquarters fifth army in january 1944;
this edition was revised in oct 44.
it is a compendium of traffic and safety use, ..."the basis of sound
highway traffic operation. it will provide the army with the means to move
efficiently troops and supplies, conserve valuable motor equipment, and
utilize to the maximum an extremely limited road net".
I had some copies of that book last winter, directly from a farmer that
kept the booklets since when 91st division fought there near Florence...
