Today I received this rather strange email. The writer wants to buy "power
steering units" but does not indicate any other info. I explained that
wherever he got the price quote of $950, he was mistaken, as that is our
price (regulated by the feds) for a government entity.
HELLO,
Am a dealer in ireland who buy's cars and car engine for sale. Am interested
in your Power Steering units . and the price quotation is o.k by me which is
the price of $950. In respect of shipping, i have a reputable international
shipper who takes care of my shipping. Pls mail me asap to arrange
payment.Thanks.
GEORGE.........................
His email is georgemason_inc @yahoo.com
He does not say that someone in the US owes him a lot of money, and would I
simply reimburse his friend, etc, like so many other "419" type scams. but
I'm still wary of people who just want to buy, without discussing the
product, etc.
I told him via email to send payment to my company, and I would arrange to
have his shipping agent pick up the unit from our business.
Anybody else heard from this man?
