My wife and I were on a business/vacation trip to Taos, N.M. this week and
as we were getting ready to leave town for home I spotted an M151 (dash
nothing) sitting in a restaurant parking lot, with New Mexico plates.
It was set up with hood marking that read "MVCC 7524".
Does anybody on the list know who this vehicle might belong to? We were
running on schedule, but the wife knew if I went in and asked around, we
would soon enough be behind and we had a train to catch, so I did not get to
do the recon work I wanted to.
This M151 was one of only two MV's we spotted that wasn't parked in a guard
armory. The other was an M1010 ambulance sitting at a garage in Raton.
I did notice several Guard Armories that had M42 dusters parked outside.
Just curious.
Loved Taos, thinking it would be nice to move there!
