Well I've had many e-mails asking about the engine that The Diesel Depot
built for me so I asked Jamie Avant to put me together a list of options
performed on my completely rebuilt engine. The total cost was $5,700.00 and
it runs like a champ. If you have any questions pertaining to the engine or

of my completed restoration project of my M998 HMMWV. Here is a list of
engine work and other upgrades:
Engine:
1. Dropped Compression 6.2L Pistons (.010 recessed)
2. Ceramic Coating on Piston Crowns
3. Port Matched Cylinder Heads, Intake Manifold, and Intake Air Port
4. Ceramic Coated Combustion Chambers & Exhaust Ports
5. Square Decked Engine Block
6. Completely Balanced Rotating Assembly (new balancer & flex plate)
7. Ceramic Coated Exhaust Manifolds & Heat Shield
8. Custom Re-ground Camshaft
9. 6.5L High-volume Oil Pump
10. Remanufactured 6.5L Injector Pump
11. New 6.5L NA Fuel Injectors
12. HO 6.2L V-belt Water Pump (30% greater coolant flow)
13. 180 Degree Thermostat
Other Stuff:
1. 24-Volt back up lights
2. Pioneer rack and tools
3. Complete Line-X Bedliner of bed and interior
4. 24-Volt 9,000 pound winch
