the first thing that comes to mind is a defective engine mount. I can't
remember what they are called, but the shock absorbing area where the
engine mounts to the frame.
If not that I would probably stop visiting mountain bike trails in the
Berkley hills. Or at least wait until that fellow with the nice half track
flattens them out for you a bit.
