Yanno John, I forgot about the wheel wells... :-( from the measurements
the books give, it has 1/2 inch to spare otherwise...
I only plan on using it as a backup anyway.. we are hoping to have a
flat trailer to use...
Mike
Still wishing I could just bring them home with the deuce....

Mike,
The trailers both have pintle hitches on them. You would need a pintle
hook on your pickup to be able to tow them.
I don't believe that the 101 will fit inside of the 105. It is likely to
be narrow enough to fit but, the 105 has wheel wells inside of the box,
so you would have to find some way of getting the 101 wheels up and over
the wheel wells in the 105. You would have to accomplish that with about
1000 pounds of generators on the deck of the 101.
Sounds good in theory, but may not be practical in reality.
John

Subject: [MV] M105/M101 question
So after the latest GL auction I need to transport home a 105 trailer
and a 101 with 2 5kw gensets. My question is, what is the inside
dimension of the 105? Will the 101 fit inside the 105? I was thinking
that I could back the smaller trailer in the bigger one on a dock, and
tow them home like that. Any thoughts on this? My other option is to
take a flatbed trailer up there that will fit both, but I am not sure
how easily I can find one capable. Would be really easy to make the 2.5
hour drive with a pickup, and then just tow them home. :-) I would
just bring them all home with the M35A2 but the gov't hasn't deemed me
fit to have it yet.. ;-)
