Which is louder? turbo or non?

I know a bunch of you have multiple M35's... which truck is louder? A
turbo or non turbo? And is the 1c turbo engine louder? Or just the
whistle louder?, than the 1d?

I have seen in the archives about someone putting a mufflers on the
turbo's to quiet them some.... but I cant find the pics that were
referred to. If someone has pics of that type of installation, please
let me know?
