In my experience with my own trucks the "Whistler" or -1C turbo is loudest
followed by the -1D turbo then the non-turbo truck. The non turbo truck has a
muffler. And if you really want to find quiet, find a non-turbo example with
the rear exit exhaust. I'm pretty sure RAM's M275A2 is such an example and is
probably very quiet in comparison!
