Hi Stu
I just went over to the shop and brought the schematic back in here by
the PC. I have revised the descriptions to show the wire number, and in
each case the letter terminal on the turn signal switch it connects to
and the letter terminal on the flasher they connect to.
You have an L on the 3 lever light switch and also on the trailer
connector. The description you gave of the flasher harness I assume is
the turn signal switch harness. The flasher only has 3 terminals A,B
and C. The harness you have does not correspond to the terminal
markings in the manual.
On the turn signal switch on the column they show A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H.
On the Flasher they show A,B and C. I have no L showing at all on these
items. I hope that this info from the M151A2 TM can help you. That is
all I have at this end.
By the way Terminal L on the 3 lever light switch connects to wire #491.
Terminal L on the trailer receptacle connects to wire #90 which is
ground.
These are the codes from the M151A2 TM:
#460 goes from Flasher control #A to the Right Fr. Turn Signal lamp.
#461 goes from Flasher control #B to the Left Fr. Turn Signal lamp.
#22/460 goes from Flasher Control #E to the Right Rr. Turn Signal lamp.
#22/461 goes from Flasher Control #C to the left Rr. Turn Signal lamp.
#22 goes from Flasher Control #D to #C on the main light switch.
#467 goes from Flasher Control #G to #J on the main light switch.
#H on the Flasher Control goes to #A on the solid state flasher unit.
#F on the Flasher Control goes to #B on the solid state flasher unit.
Ground #57(under dash) on the body goes to #C on the solid state
flasher.
