Introduced in 1983, first production 12,000 vehicles. First 2000 trucks were
delivered to signal units for commo equipment carriers.
Produced in two main versions, standard and high mobility. Main differance
is standard has a ground clearance of 0.302 meter under the axle, while the
high mobility has a 0.425 meter clearance. Chassis is U-Beam sidemembers,
180mmx70mmx4mm, riveted and bolted. All steel cab, either soft top or hard
top. It's a tilting cab, two man sized. Hard top has a standard rail mounted
GPMG mount. Cargo bed is drop side, with bows and the usual tarp. Can use an
optional winch. There are plenty of variants - fuel, mortar, AAA, workshops,
etc.
