I mistakenly forgot to hook up the air hoses between my M35A2 and M105A2
this past summer. I did disengage the hand brakes as I was supposed to,
just forgot the hoses. I wound up dragging two locked up tires across the
yard until I looked in the mirror and saw that the wheels were not turning.
I was very concerned until I observed the unhooked hoses and connected them.
All was well after that. In my trailers case the brakes appear to be
engaged until air pressure is hooked up. One hose keeps the air pressure
turned on all the time, at least when the brake pedal is not pressed down, I
can't be sure if the air pressure stops when the pedel is depressed. The
other does not have air pressure until the pedal is pressed down. I am not
smart enough to guess why this is set up like this but it does seem to work
this way.
