Hi all,
A WARNING .
If mixing your own battery acid by diluting concentrated sulphuric acid
to the required SG of 1.26 @ 70` F, NEVER add water to the acid this
will generate heat and a violent reaction .
ALWAYS , GENTLY , SLOWLY , pour the acid into the distilled or deionised
water to reach the required SG , bearing in mind that the process will still
generate heat , so check SG at room temp .
SG at full charge should be in the range 1.27-1.285 @ 70`F
WEAR GOGGLES ,old clothes and thick rubber gauntlets . Keep onlookers well
away .
Be carefull .
Best regards Noel
