Hi all,
           Check the points first , then set the timing as The points gap /
dwell angle affects the timing

IF you must clean the points in current/ voltage control boxes use only
GLASS PAPER , nothing else , and be very careful since the settings are
critical and can easily be destroyed . DO NOT force apart the contacts or
dismantle the unit . After cleaning check the settings with a meter to be
sure that the voltage and /or current are correct .
