and can also destroy injector pumps.. Caterpillar is having trouble with one
of their engines - some sort of "O" ring fails and lets coolant into diesel
return lines, water separator takes water out of fuel but not Antifreeze.
Antifreeze gets into fuel and destroys lubricating action of fuel on
injectors and causes them to seize. When the dealers shop finds this has
happened they drain and discard the fuel. Sometimes a few hundred gallons.
