Dave...can you weld a piece of scrap metal onto the end (top)of the key
so you'll have something to pound or pry on? New keystock wouldn't be
hard to find...if it's a standard size. Standard would be like 1/4, 5/16
or 3/8 inch. Cover the shaft with a wet rag before welding...you may
even be able to save the old keys with a little grinding afterwards.
