Keep in mind that there is such a thing as a 12 volt, government issue M35. Without having unpacked my reference material I can't state as an absolute fact, but I believe that there are also a 12 volt M35A1 and M35A2. Therefore there will also be parts in the supply chain to support these vehicles.
The NSN of the sending unit may help with this. Unrelated, but sort of interesting, the 12 volt M35 doesn't have an air compressor-it uses vacuum assist.
