Here's the way you size up your tires assuming you have just 8 to deal with.
Measure rolling circumference of all 8 tires and mark that on the tire.
Remember to have equal inflation in all tires before measuring. Put the 2 tires
with the longest circumference on one side of an axle and the 2 tires with the
shortest circumference on the opposite side of the same axle. Of the
remaining 4 tires pair up the two with the longest circumference on one side of the
remaining axle and the last two, well you know where they go. This is the best
you can equalize rolling output from each axle. This might cause unneccesary
wear on Detroit Lockers (disclaimer).
