M998 Brush Guard

I jumped on a "Buy It Now" brush guard on eBay. However, it is made of
tubing and the HMMWV brush guard appears to be "formed" angle iron in the
parts manual.

Is it a mil veh "sin" to put this on a M998? Or, is there a tubing version
for the mil veh?
