The military suggests (well, orders) that when a tire has been changed
and ready to be reinflated, that you push it underneath the front axle
of the vehicle before inflating it at all. That way, it it does come
apart, the axle will contain the blast. Having said that, I think
Everett's method has much more character to it! :-) Jim
