IF you have to remove the clutch , and have access to a lathe even a small
one , it is an easy task to machine up a dummy shaft to line things up again
and save a lot of heaving and pushing . BUT if not then find a piece of bar
thats a good fit in the flywheel bearing and then at the right distance
along using adhesive tape , electrical or masking carefully wind on the tape
to increase the diameter to suit the clutch plate spline bore . You can make
up the bar to fit the bearing if you must .
May not be 100% acurate but near enough to fit most times .
Good luck NOEL
