That's why you have to use a "good" trailer to pull heavy loads. Guys
around me pull 18K lb backhoes with 1 ton trucks all of the time. If the
trailer brakes don't work, it's really obvious!
Most Semi tractors weigh less than 30K lbs, yet their combined weight with
a trailer is 80K lbs or more.
