SWAG: 5 Tons are rated at twice the capacity of a Deuce. Thus they would
likely have at least twice the air to assist the brakes in stopping the
load. ( armchair logic I readily admit ) AFAIK we never used a deuce to
tow a heavy trailer in the Army: 5 Tons only. The Deuce just
didn't/doesn't seem big enough for the trailers we had.
