I am not expert by any means however ----My .02 on additives to "clean
inside engine"
I am not sure that I want the stuff that has settled to bottom of oil pain
disturbed, and I am a bit concerned about pouring something in my engine
that is going to thin the oil. An engine that has its oil changed at
regular intervals, and filter changed every time oil is should remain
"clean" I have operated civilian vehicles far in excess of 250,000 miles by
changing oil every 3000 to 3500 miles, change oil filter every time and air
filter every second oil change.
Also if I have an engine overheat -- loose coolant -- I change oil and
filter as soon as I can, thinking that if engine got really hot it hurt the
oil. At maybe 7 bucks for oil and 6 for filter, compare to 3000 bucks for
engine
Extrapolate this to 48 quarts of oil and 30 bucks for filters and ?????? for
engine.
