No actually it is a very good protocol, windows media player recognizes
it. You usually connect to an .asx or .wmx file which has the mms path
in it. It allows smooth playback for weak internet connections. This is
what I do to support my Green Fever.

ahh...Safari doesn't recognize it...Funny, neither does Internet
Explorer. Looks like it's either a crappy protocol or Oshkosh's web
editor munged the url.
