Heard that there was an MV crash on I-70 Westbound
near Greenville, Illinois Thursday at about 5:30 am.
Anybody here involved? I live about 30 mi from
Greenville if help is required.
The news said that one surplus military truck (deuce
probably) was towing another Westbound, when a semi
rear-ended the MV combination and ran it off the road.
Both the driver and the passenger were killed. I
figure they were pulling the 5% grade West of
Greenville, so they were probably down to 40-45mph.
Semi appears to have hit them going at least 65. Will
inform if I hear more.
Go slow and watch your mirrors!
