They are for hooking up the air lines to a trailer with
air brakes or air/ hydralic. One line will be for service
brakes ( Blue comercially ), air only goes through when
the brakes are applied, and the other will be for supply,
( Red commercially) this has constant pressure and keeps
the parking brakes from coming on in commercial vehicles.
