But the airframes for the C141's were constantly
used over the past years hauling everything from
icmbs to MREs from one side of the world to the
other. The C141s went through a re-engine program
some time back, but there's only so much you can
do before the entire airframe has reached its
limits of life.
Only ~50 have enough service life left (fewest
damage hours) to be useful through 2006. Those
that are still useful have been transferred to
the guard to limit their hours and he active duty
aircraft retired due to age.

The M35s are going to be sold off. They're
disposing of them all as I understand it They're
near end of life from a military standpoint. Just
like the M151s were.
