CUCV M1008 oil question

Ok guys, here's your chance for a laugh. I went down to napa and asked
for 2 gals of 10w40,
The guy said ok and loaded them into some bags. Came home, drained the
oil, changed the filter
and primed it, started to put the remainder of oil in and then that's
when I noticed that it was all
10W30.

I figure it wont hurt to run on this for a while, but how soon should I
change oil again?
