The clear button would be useless. You would need to hit the button and
clear the memory of its speed value a fraction of a second before you
are at the point of collision. All the lawyers are looking for is the
speed of the vehicle in the last few seconds before you wiped out and
what the braking system was doing. The rest of the information is not
really needed by them in case prep. The point of all this is a large
number of cases which involved two drivers with completely different
stories re. speed etc are now going to be debunked and the truth
exposed. You are now drivinig around in a recording machine like it or
not.

Error, Ray. That' flash memory and won't clear by disconnecting the
battery.
As far as I know, it records the last 30 seconds and then records each
following
30 seconds over that. Best to find the method used to clear the memory
and install
a CLEAR button on the dash.
