The 150Hz and 151.4 tones seem to be compatible, I think it's the
sensitivity of the PRC to the received tone that causes unsquelching
problems. The wide PRC bandwidth makes for a low-amplitude 150Hz tone
as heard by it from the ham radio's narrow signal, and so the
unsquelching may be unreliable. Maybe increasing the gain of the
squelch circuit after the 150Hz filter might help. I am looking for a
colmplete schematic of the PRC-77 (maybe the -35 manuals?), as I would
like to see what needs to be done to add some compatibility without
otherwise messing up the radio. Old squelch option would be nice too.
