HMMWV turbo 400 gear-set question?

Question on turbo 400/3L80 transmission gear-sets used in HMMWVs, are the
gear teeth straight like in commercial truck applications for the turbo 400
or are they curved like in auto and light truck applications? For example
the straight cut gears make more noise. Also did the turbo 400s in CUCVs
like M1008 use straight gear teeth?
