Guys (and Gals)
Im a long time lurker here and I thouht maybe you guys could help me out
identifying a piece of heavy machinery bought an an auction.
Well maybe not heavy but it is construction equipment. I have a mini
trackhoe identified as follows from the data plate.
Hanix MiniGiant
Model N080-2
Machine No. N0811483
Engine model C50L
Serial No. 9618
Whant im mainly interested in is the engine. Who makes it? is there a
local parts supplier for it (In the US) In partilular I need a new starter
for it. Is there something in place of OEM starter i can use? The machine
does NOT have a starter, it was removed before I got it.
The only parts supplier i can find is in the UK and he wants $900 USD for
it which I think is ridiculous. This is a 2 cyl .5 deisel engine.
Any info would be appreciated such as guesses of shaft rpm, torque,
horsepower. etc.
I bought this to get my feet wet before I actually attempt an MV since I
know nothing about deisel engines or hydraulics.
Thanks in advance.
