John, depending on what the job is, you might need a full blown
heliarc machine; or you might just need some of those aluminum
rods you can use with a low temp acetylene or MAPP torch.

For the life of me, I can't recall who makes the rods you use with
a torch, but they're good for filling small holes in aluminum, but
not recommended for structural stuff.

Heliarc ( a type of TIG system) is always best for aluminum, but the
machine's not cheap. You might want to think about having the job
done at a welding shop.
