I'd go with DOT 4. Easy to find. Better
temperature range and compatible with natural
rubber seals.

The problem with the DOT 5 silicone is that water
will sit at low or high points (can't recall
which) and will corrode your steel tubing. The
Hydrophillic fluid doesn't do this.
