There is an old story of the experienced salesman and the rookie. The old
guy says, always use the "flinch" method when quoting prices. State the
price, if the mark doesn't flinch, say "plus labor" - if no flinch, say
"plus travel expenses" - if no flinch, say "plus delivery" etc etc etc.
