I tried to flat tow mine this past weekend. IT did NOT work at all. The
wheels would NOT track. I nearly pulled the front tires off of the wheels.
My 2 1/2 ton never noticed the difference. You may have better luck. by the
way I never disconnected any shafts. If you remove the front shaft be aware
that nothing holds the yoke on the front of the transfer case but the
driveshaft, It is possible that it could fall off and get lost.
