Thanks for all the help and the tip on the reference section. The Operators
manual only makes reference to TB 9-2300-295-15/21 " Warranty Procedures for
Cummins Engine (Model NHC 250) and Allison Transmission (Model MT654CR) in
Truck, 5-Ton, 6x6, M939 Series".
Although digging through all that I finally figured out that the 6CTA8.3
appears to only have been used in the M939A2, the M939 and M939A1 got the
Cummins NHC 250.
No references mentioned to a separate engine manual in in the U, DS, and GS
Maint Manuals However volumes 3 and 4 have more than enough information to
do a teardown if need be. I guess that means I have all the manuals I can
get..
Well except for MWO 9-2320-272-35-1 "MODIFICATION OF 5-TON M939A, M939A1,
M939A2 SERIES FAMILY OF VEHICLES (FOV) M939 BRAKE STABILIZATION PROGRAM
(RETROFIT OF ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) FOR M939 FOV)" LOGSA hasn't made
that public yet.
Of course as with anything these days, Just ask ebay and there will be at
least one of something out there...... Civie parts manual...
