Although I can't appraise your M211, I will offer this: One of the most common broken handbrake parts on the M135/M211 is the
lug on the transfer case mount. I've seen the brake linkage
rod all twisted up, too. If the lug is the problem, I'm pretty
sure that I have a NOS replacement part. I'd appreciate it if you pass the word onto whoever buys your truck.
I'm in NJ, the part is $75.00 plus UPS.
