Re: [MV] Super Singles?

Thanks, guys:

The Super singles I see on cement mixers and dirt haulers in my area don't have the
diameter problem. They're just about the same outside diameter as the standard tires
used on dual wheel setups. So, no tire rubbing for the rear tandem axles. These
Class 8 rigs also use Super Singles on the steer axles so all 6 tires are the same
and the load carrying capacity is maximized.

As for me, I'm trying to find Super Singles to fit my 2001 Dodge/Cummins QuadCab 1-ton
4X4 with dual rear wheels. I want to reduce the tire count while retaining the load
capacity. Yup, I know I'll have to buy 7 new wheels if I find the tires, but I'm
willing to do that. My OEM tires are 235/85R16.
